163. Hon KATE DOUST to the
Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to cabinet documents or Economic and Expenditure
Reform Committee documents that the former Treasurer would have had in his
possession on the weekend of 22 and 23 February.
(1) Have these documents been retrieved?
(2) If so, when,
by whom, and where were they retrieved from?
(3) If no to (1),
has the cabinet secretary, Peter Conran, made any attempts to retrieve the
cabinet documents?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1)–(3)
A cabinet file was retrieved from the former Treasurer's ministerial
office by cabinet secretariat staff on 27 February 2014. Two EERC files for the
former Treasurer were also retrieved from the ministerial office by cabinet
secretariat staff subsequent to his formal resignation on 10 March 2014.
