(2) The original lease was varied on 12 February 2001, to include an additional 427 square metres. A further lease was negotiated in 2002 to extend the term to 31 August 2005 with options to 2007. (3) The annual cost of leasing the office space in the Central Business District was $707 056.44 for the 2003 fiscal year. (4) The previous cost of leasing office space at Joondalup was $441 452.28 for the 1999 fiscal year. (5) The savings were estimated in 1999 to be $250 000 annually, arising from travel and operational efficiencies. (6) The current lease expires on 31 August 2005 with options to 2007. (7)-(8) The previous Coalition Government approved the move from Joondalup on the basis the project was substantially complete. LandCorp’s remaining operations are State wide and its future location will be influenced by operational needs as well as strategic matters.
