I refer the answer provided to Question Without Notice 765, 19 June 2024, regarding the Target 120 program, which stated "An evaluation of the Target 120 program has been completed and is now being considered by government. Consideration will be given to the release of the report in due course", and I ask: (a) Will the Minister table a copy of the evaluation in Parliament, if so when; (b) Which agency or department conducted the evaluation, and were independent or external reviewers involved; (c) How frequent are reviews and/or evaluations into the Target 120 program; (d) Are reviews and/or evaluations scheduled; (e) If not, who is responsible for initiating the review and/or evaluation into the program; and (f) What has been the total cost of the program since its start date?

(a)    Although the evaluation is complete it is continuing to be used to inform future budget considerations for the Target 120 program. Therefore, it remains appropriate to withhold the release of the evaluation at this point in time. Consideration will be given to releasing the evaluation in due course .
(b)    Quantum Consulting, an independent evaluation consultant, conducted the evaluation. The evaluation report was reviewed by the Department of Communities (Communities) and Department of Treasury and Finance.
(c)    An independent midpoint review was conducted in 2021 and an independent evaluation completed in 2024.
(d)    No.
(e)    Communities is responsible for initiating the review and/or evaluation of the program as part of its role in leading and coordinating the monitoring and evaluation of strategies, programs, projects, policies and other initiatives across Communities.
(f)     Since 2017 the State Government has invested $55.1 million to support the implementation and delivery of the Target 120 program, expanding across 20 metropolitan and regional sites.
