I refer to the minister's recent media statement regarding
the wheatbelt highway review.
(1) What ''extensive
road safety treatment works'' are currently being carried out on Toodyay
Road in the wheatbelt region, what is the cost and when are they expected to be
completed?
(2) What road
treatment works were carried out on Toodyay Road in the wheatbelt region in
2014–15, what was the cost and when were they completed?
(3) What road
treatment works are planned on Toodyay Road in the wheatbelt region in 2015–16,

Construction of the left-turn pocket at Dryandra Road, costing $355 000, is
expected to be completed by June 2015.
(3) There are
development funds of $250 000 for intersection improvements at Morangup Road.
Construction funding will be requested for 2016–17 to complete the
works. There are development funds of $150 000 to commence design for seal
widening and clear zone improvements on Toodyay Road in the wheatbelt region,
with the intention of having some sections ready for construction in 2016–17.
