GREENPATCH DEVELOPMENT —
CHROMIUM-6 — DALYELLUP
1301. Hon DIANE EVERS to the Minister for Environment:
I refer to the minister's
response to my question on notice 2093 on 5 June 2019.
(1) Has the
Department of Water and Environmental Regulation now received the revised site
management plan from Tronox Pigment, formerly Cristal Pigment Australia,
addressing the comments from DWER and the Department of Health?
(2) If no to (1), when is it
expected to be received?
(3) If yes to
(1), has the Radiological Council also provided comments?
(a) If yes, what are they, and have
they been addressed; and
(b) if no, when will comments be provided?
(4) If yes to (1), will the
minister please table a copy?
(5) If no to (4), why not?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Yes.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) (a)–(b)
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation did not refer the October
2019 site management plan to the Radiological Council, because the Radiological
Council had already provided comments to DWER on the management of radiation in
correspondence dated September 2019. This correspondence is included as
appendix C of the October 2019 site management plan.
(4) Yes. I table the attached
document.
[See paper 4615 .]
(5) Not applicable.
