Lockridge Senior High School operates a farm on Lot 88 Altone Rd, Lockridge (Lot 88, Diagram 92682). The land, leased by the Department of Education from the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), allows students to undertake a Certificate II in Agriculture course. This lease has now expired. As any changes to the land zoning will impact on the school's Agriculture program, I ask:
(a) what plans does the WAPC have for that site;
(b) if Lockridge Senior High School is to lose access to that site, what is the WAPC timeframe for this; and
(c) if Lockridge Senior High School farm cannot operate from that site, what assistance will be provided to the school to find suitable, easily accessible land, thereby ensuring the continuation of a viable and successful Agricultural program?

(a) The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) proposes to lease 3.6 hectares of Lot 88 to the Department of Education for farm school use. This 3.6 hectares is the portion of the site that has been developed, irrigated and used for the farm school. The remainder of Lot 88 is proposed for future urban development to provide land for new housing.
