(1) The commencing salary for new graduate teachers in February 2005 was $40 620 for a four-year trained graduate and $43 012 for a five-year trained graduate. In February 2006 the salary was $41 838 for a four-year trained graduate and $44 302 for a five-year trained graduate. In February 2007 the salary was $43 743 for a four-year trained graduate and $46 318 for a five-year trained graduate.
