EXTRAORDINARY
DRIVERS' LICENCES — REVIEW
302. Ms R. SAFFIOTI to the Minister for
Transport:
I have a supplementary question. Will the minister's
department support or oppose any application for an extraordinary driver's
licence from the member for Vasse?

It sounds like the same question to
me. We are opposing 95 per cent of applications. The basic guideline is that we
will oppose in the court on the basis of public safety. It is up to the
magistrate to make those decisions.
