(1) The Mental Health Commission is the lead agency and primary funder of community-based mental health education programs. Defer to the Mental Health Commission’s response.

Mental Health Commission advises:
(1) The Mental Health Commission (MHC) purchases 22 preventative and educational programs. Refer to Attachment for details of each program.
(2) Of the 22 programs, 13 mental health educational programs are accessible to youth.
(3) The programs in the answer to question (2) are promoted to youth through a variety of means including via websites, campaigns, social media, brochures, posters, broadcast media, newsletters, through professional networks and ambassadors, online forums, sports clubs, training and presentations.
