refer to question without notice 1026 and the Minister for Education's
advice that the Department of Finance has completed its validation for the
scope of work to provide power infrastructure upgrades to Morley Senior High
School.
(1) What is the time frame for
completed works?
(2) Which department is overseeing
the works?
(3) Has the school been notified?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) What is the estimated cost of
the works?

On behalf of the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Finance, I thank the honourable member for some
notice of the question. The Department of Finance advises —
(1)–(5) Building
Management and Works is managing the proposed power infrastructure upgrades to
Morley Senior High School on behalf of the Department of Education. It is anticipated
that the tender for the upgrade works will be released to market by November
2016, after which the estimated cost will be known. The project is scheduled
for completion by February 2017.
