representing the Minister for Mines and Petroleum:
I refer to the inquiry into fly in,
fly out and other long distance commuting work practices in regional Queensland,
and the ninth report tabled in the Queensland Parliament on 9 October 2015.
(1) Has the minister read the
report?
(2) Will the
minister consider some of the recommendations for WA, especially
recommendations 17 and 18, which offer practical alternatives to FIFO work
practices?
(3) If no to (1) and/or (2), why
not?
