The Cost of Living Project is a work stream of the Essential and Municipal Services Upgrade Program being undertaken by the Department of Communities. The key objective of the project is to quantify the cost of living differences between Perth, regional towns and remote Aboriginal communities for various household structure types to help determine household capacity to pay for basic services. The project is expected to run until the end of 2018. Participants involved in planning and scoping are internal to the Department of Communities and Novelle Consulting.
