undertaken presently by the Commissioner for Victims of Crime.
(1) When will the review be
finalised?
(2) Will the
Attorney General commit to the public release of the review at the point at
which it is completed?

I thank the member for some notice
of the question. I answer on behalf of the parliamentary secretary representing
the Attorney General. The following answer has been provided to me by the
Attorney General.
(1) The review will be finalised in
May 2024.
(2) It is
anticipated that the review and its recommendations will require cabinet
consideration. However, at this stage, it is intended that a consultation
summary of the review will be publicly released.
