SIR CHARLES GAIRDNER HOSPITAL — RADIOGRAPHER POSITIONS
I ask this question on behalf of Hon Ed Dermer who is out of the house on urgent parliamentary business. I refer to the recently advertised positions for radiographers at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. (1) How many positions were filled as a result of the advertisements and did the positions go to existing Department of Health staff or to people from outside the Department of Health? (2) Were any positions filled which were subsequently subject to appeal; and, if so, what was the reason for the appeals and who lodged them? (3) Does the candidate whose employment was subject to appeal remain contracted to the Department of Health; and, if so, what is the yearly package value of that contract? (4) Has the Department of Health readvertised that position and appointed another person; and, if so, what is the yearly package value of that new contract? (5) Has the supervisor overseeing the appointments stepped down; and, if so, why? Hon DONNA FARAGHER
