I refer to Question on Notice No 4367 and I ask: (a) Was any other research undertaken prior to the Minister launching Western Australia as the Road Trip State; (b) If yes to (a) what was the other research and the findings of the research; (c) On what date did Tourism WA receive the BDA Marketing Planning (High Value Traveller Research, October 2018) research findings; (d) Has the Minister read a copy of the BDA Marketing Planning (High Value Traveller Research, October 2018) research findings and if so, on what date did he receive the research? If not, why not; and (e) Will the Minister table a copy of the BDA Market Planning research? If not, why not?

(a)    No, however, Tourism WA had identified through other campaign activity that a self-drive holiday format resonated strongly with the market segment that displayed the highest propensity to visit WA.
(b)   Not applicable.
(c)   Please refer to Legislative Assembly Question on Notice 4833.
(d)   No, however, I have seen the summaries of the High Value Traveller audience produced by Tourism WA for each of its key international markets. These draw on the key learnings from the BDA research and were tabled in response to Legislative Assembly Question on Notice 4833.
(e)   Please refer to Legislative Assembly Question on Notice 4833.
