(a) The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale prepared a master plan for the site in September 2013. The first stage is likely to comprise playing fields, hard courts and supporting facilities such as lighting and changerooms which is subject to further consultation with sport clubs and state sporting associations. (b) Detailed costs of facilities and services are yet to be determined. (c) The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is currently preparing a business case. (d) Once completed, the business case will be assessed by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. (e) Yes. (f) The State Government identified important community projects for inclusion in the WA Recovery Plan. In 2018 the State Government transferred the 63 hectare site to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale for the development of the Kiernan Park Recreation Precinct. (g) (i)-(iv) Funding will be allocated as per the 2021-22 State Budget and potentially adjusted as necessary depending on the outcome of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale business case and assessment by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries
