I refer to the Department of Mines and Petroleum and the Department of Water Steering Group regarding hydraulic fracturings, and I ask —
(1) Has a terms of reference been drafted for this steering group?
(2) If yes to (1), will the Minister please table the terms of reference?
(3) If no to (1), when is it expected that the terms of reference will be finalised?
(4) How many times, if ever, has this steering group met?
(5) Will the Minister please table any and all minutes from these meetings?
(6) If no to (5), why not?

(1) - (6) The Department of Mines and Petroleum and Department of Water are considering establishing a regular forum to examine issues of common interest to the two departments, including unconventional gas, geothermal energy, mine dewatering and carbon geosequestration. However the forum and terms of reference have not been confirmed, and there has been no meeting of a Steering Group.
