Minister for Police:
I refer the minister to the tragic
death of Amy Wensley on 26 June 2014 and to his media release of 17 May 2023
titled ''Million-dollar rewards offered for 64 unsolved homicides''.
(1) Does WA police believe that Amy
Wensley was murdered?
(2) If no to (1), why is her death
listed as homicide on the media release of 17 May 2023?
(3) If no to (1), what does WA
police believe was Amy's cause of death?

The Western Australia Police Force
advises the following.
(1) The agency is
actively investigating Ms Wensley's death as a suspicious death. The
circumstances surrounding her death remain unresolved and, as a result,
criminality cannot be ruled out.
(2) Not applicable.
(3) The State Coroner has determined
the cause of Ms Wensley's death to be a shotgun wound to the head.
