I refer to Question on Notice 1001 asked by Hon Martin Aldridge MLC last year: (a) Can the Minister provide an updated timeline for a green bill in relation to the proposed Assisted Reproduction Treatment (ART) and Surrogacy legislation; (b) What advertising occurred for the public consultation forum on 13 September 2022 and subsequently: (i) What dates the advertisement(s) ran; (ii) The form of media; and (iii) The public health groups contacted directly to make them aware of the forum; (c) Since 11 October 2022, has any consultation occurred with LGBTIQA+ stakeholder groups and if yes, please detail: (i) The groups met with; (ii) The date(s) of those meetings; and (iii) Any issues raised as an outcome of those meetings; (d) Since 11 October 2022, has any consultation occurred with Health Consumer stakeholder groups and if yes, please detail: (i) The groups met with; (ii) The date(s) of those meetings; and (iii) Any issues raised as an outcome of those meetings; (e) How many direct consumer consultations occurred between individual consumers and the Ministerial Expert Panel: (i) How many of these individual consumers were consulted more than once; (f) Has the Minister received a final report as suggested in the October update; (g) If yes to (f), when will the Minister table the report; (h) If the Minister will not table the report, when will the report be made publicly available; (i) When is it anticipated that the Government will respond to the report; (j) Has the Minister received any further Ministerial Expert Panel Updates: (i) Please table those updates; and (ii) Why are the updates from November 2022 (Ministerial Expert Panel Update 6) to present not available as of 28 March 2023; (k) Is the Ministerial Expert Panel still operational? If not, when did it disband; and (l) For LGBTIQA+ individuals impacted by the Bill who feel they have not been adequately heard, what opportunities are there for them to provide further feedback and input into the drafting process?
