LIVE EXPORT
694. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the Minister for Agriculture and
Food:
My question is without notice. I refer
to the minister's support for the continuation of the live sheep export
industry as previously stated in this place.
(1) Has the
minister received an economic assessment of the closure of the live sheep
export industry from her department?
(2) Will the
minister commit to tabling the document at tomorrow's sitting of the
house?
The PRESIDENT :
To be clear, that is a question without notice.

(1)–(2) I
have had a verbal briefing from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional
Development on work being done on economic assessment. My understanding is that
that report is not yet finalised. I will review it in due course.
