I refer to the current $15.4m
redevelopment of the Armadale Kelmscott Memorial Hospital, in last year’s
budget this was meant to have $1m spent on it this current financial year, $3.2m
in 15/16 and $2m in 16/17 and I note that in the 15/16 State budget it reveals no
money was spent on the development in this current financial year, a reduction
of $1m for the 15/16 year on the previous forward estimate, a reduction of
$1.2m for the 16/17 year and pushing this money out to the 17/18 year, and ask: (a) is the completion of the
redevelopment this hospital delayed by yet another year, if so why; and (b) are there any plans to increase the existing bed numbers and expand the level and range of services provided at this hospital as part of this redevelopment? If so, please provide details?
