WATER CORPORATION — WASTEWATER TESTING
912. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the

I refer to the ministerXXX ###XXXs

(1) What are the
barriers preventing suitably qualified and accredited regional laboratories
contracting to the Water Corporation for testing work?
(2) If the
barriers are not yet known, why not, given these regional laboratories have
been expressing an interest in this work for some time?
(3) When the work
comes up for tender, will the Water Corporation modify its single provider
model so offers from regional laboratories to provide services in their local
regions can be considered?
(4) If no to (3),
why not?
