Mr KUCERA: - or what will be the expected commencement and completion dates of construction. The Kalamunda hospital redevelopment project was not an endorsed Labor election commitment. Several members interjected. The SPEAKER: I ask members to be quiet when the minister is replying to the question; I can hardly hear him. Interjections must be limited to the member who asked the question. Mr KUCERA: As the member for Avon mentioned the other day, people are concerned about the community’s health needs. The Health Department’s capital works budget for 2001-02 currently is being reviewed by the Government. All budget commitments will be announced on 23 August 2001. In reviewing the program, priority will be given to election commitments followed by other areas of need, having regard to the population to be serviced, the services to be provided and the condition of existing assets.
