Fund and the October 2024 evaluation of the Fund, and I ask:(a) Has the Government updated the Fund’s governance
framework, project register or annual reporting processes since the evaluation;(b) If yes to (a), what changes have been made and
when did they take effect; and(c) Has the Government completed the options
analysis, risk assessment, or resource review recommended by the October 2024
evaluation?

(a-b) Following the 2024 Pilbara Environmental Offset Fund (PEOF) review, governance groups have been reviewed and amendments include changes to the membership and terms of reference to the Implementation Advisory Group and the addition of new members to the Steering Committee and expansion of their role to help manage risk and project delivery.
Following the 2024 review, changes have also been made to ensure that PEOF offset project reports are made publicly available on the PEOF website.
There have been no changes to annual reporting.
(c) The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation has progressed actions in response to the October 2024 evaluation as outlined in the State Government response, which is publicly available.
