ELLENBROOK RAIL LINE — PREMIER'S
COMMENTS
199. Ms R. SAFFIOTI to the Premier:
I ask a supplementary question.
Given that we cannot believe any promises that the Premier made when he was in
opposition, such as the Ellenbrook rail line, and we cannot believe any
promises he makes when he is in government, such as the Metro Area Express
light rail, when can we believe any promise he makes on public transport?

Questions without Notice Resumed
Mr C.J. BARNETT : I
have answered the question. When we were in opposition way back then, we accepted
that the work would have been done on the Ellenbrook rail line and it was part
