Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety that allows WA consumers
to report scams.
According to year since 2020 and
according to month since January 2024, how many reports of scams have been
received by the portal WA ScamNet?

The
online reporting through the WA ScamNet portal is only one way that scams are
reported to Consumer Protection. Reports
of scams are also received via emails and mail to Consumer Protection, calls to
the department and consumers reporting in person. The Crime Stoppers
website and the commonwealth cybercrime reporting site also refer reports to
Consumer Protection. As the number of scam reports is provided in tabular form,
I seek leave to have the information incorporated into Hansard .
