MINISTER
FOR FINANCE — PRIVATE INTERESTS — PARISAM PTY LTD
1405. Hon KEN TRAVERS to the
Leader of the House representing the Minister for Finance:
Has the Leader of the House suggested that ministers have
answers regarding the Minister for Finance? Does the minister have question
without notice 251?
Hon Peter Collier : Yes, I have.
Hon KEN TRAVERS : My question is —
(1) Was the Minister for Finance
aware when he purchased a share in a Cottesloe investment property in January
2013 that Mr Paul Thompson, a shareholder in one of the joint tenants in this
purchase, was the subject of investigations into what is known as the Libor
scandal?
(2) Why is the
address for the minister's company Parisam Pty Ltd shown on the
Cottesloe property title as being at Mr Thompson's residence in
Dalkeith?
(3) Does the
Minister for Finance have any other business relationships with Mr Paul Thompson;
and, if yes, what are they?
(4) Why did
the minister not reveal his ongoing investment relationship with Mr Thompson in
January 2014 when questioned by media about his relationship with him?
