(a) The Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) is a respected independent national organisation with membership of close to 700 of Australia’s leading businesses and academic institutions. CEDA provides leadership and policy perspectives on the economic and social issues affecting Australia. This is achieved through a rigorous and evidence based research agenda and forums and events that deliver lively debate and critical perspectives. A number of these forums, events and research papers are of direct relevance to the Department’s core activities relating to workforce development and training.
(b) The Department’s Corporate Executive.
(c) $3 905 per annum (GST inclusive).
(d) Benefits include: • Access to forums and events which inform the workforce development functions of the Department; • Research findings on the challenges and opportunities facing Western Australia’s regions which are used to inform workforce policy and planning processes that link to regional development commission blueprints; • Access to independent outcomes-based research on the economy; • An opportunity to engage with stakeholders on these issues; and • Exclusive access to a member-only online portal, which contains CEDA's research and events archives.
