EXECUTIVE GOVERNMENT —
EMPLOYMENT RESTRICTIONS
855. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Minister for Public Sector Management:
Aside from the operation of the
Integrity (Lobbyists) Act 2016 —
(1) What employment restrictions are placed on
ministers, parliamentary secretaries and senior public servants upon
their resignation from executive government?
(2) What is the foundation of this
restriction or these restrictions in statute or otherwise?
(3) How does the management of post-government
employment options for ex-senior executive decision-makers differ from
arrangements in other Australian jurisdictions?

jobs as they see fit.
(2) Not
applicable.
(3) The Public
Sector Commission does not hold this information.
