CUSTODIAL SYSTEM — ADULT ON REMAND
I refer to the answer to Assembly question on notice 4882 where it stated that the longest current time a person has been held on remand in WA is 839 days. (1) When did this person’s incarceration commence and are they still on remand? (2) Where are or where were they being held and what offence were they charged with? (3) Has this person’s trial commenced; and, if so, when will a verdict be handed down? (4) If no to (3), why not?
