Department for Community Development and Women's Interest (a) Value not readily known for minor volume of artworks held but estimated to be worth somewhere around $5,000 - $10,000. (b) These artworks have primarily been acquired through donation or presentations, some dating back many years. (c) The Department for Community Development owns and holds the artworks in question. (d) (i, ii & iv) Nil (iii) One piece was acquired for $1,500 from Jeanette Garlett. This artwork was obtained as the cover design for book "Looking West". Some of these artworks were transferred from the office of the former Minister, Hon Peter Foss, the funding of which is unknown.
