MEMBER FOR VASSE — ROAD TRAFFIC INCIDENT —
DEPARTMENT OF THE PREMIER AND CABINET INVESTIGATION
346. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to media reports today that
the Department of the Premier and Cabinet investigation into events relating to
the incidents on 22 and 23 February found no misconduct or policy breaches by
senior government staffers managing the fallout from those events.
(1) Will the Premier release the
report of the investigation?
(2) If no to (1), why not?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of this question.
(1)–(2)
No; the report is still being considered by the Public Sector Commission. It is
not usual practice that internal reports concerning employee conduct, which
often contain personal information, be made public.
