I refer to Protected Entertainment Precincts, and I ask: (a) Have any new areas been designated as Protected Entertainment
Precincts since 20 December 2024; (b) Since 20 December 2024, how many hand-held metal detector scans have been conducted, broken down by each permanent Protected Entertainment Precinct (Hillarys, Scarborough, Perth and Northbridge, Fremantle, and Mandurah) and any newly designated precincts; (c) Since 20 December 2024, how many edged weapons have been confiscated or located through hand-held metal detector scans in a Protected Entertainment Precinct, categorised by weapon type (e.g. knife, machete, sickle, scythe, blade, axe, or axe head); (d) If the data in question (3) is unavailable, since 20 December 2024, how many edged weapons have been confiscated or located in a Protected Entertainment Precinct, categorised by weapon type; (e) How many individuals have been charged with carrying an edged weapon in a Protected Entertainment Precinct since 20 December 2024; and (f) Regarding individuals found in possession of edged weapons during scans: (i) What is the breakdown by age; and (ii) What is the breakdown by gender (male, female or otherwise)?
