some notice of the question. The Western Australia Police Force advises the following.
(1) There have
been 2 034 applications received.
(2) There have
been 218 police officers recruited.
(3) On review of
the previous answer, the Western Australia Police Force advises that the
inaccurate figure of $2.3 million instead of $1.7 million was provided. As of
19 September 2024, $1.9 million has been spent. I apologise to the house for
the error.
