I thank the member
for some notice of question, which was first asked on 21 May, so it was correct
at that time. The Minister for Finance has provided me with the following
information.
(1) There were 509 submitted applications and 809
approved applications. The number of approved applications includes FHOG
applications approved or paid in the relevant date range, regardless of when
they were submitted.
(2) There were 13 submitted applications and 20
approved applications. The number of approved applications may include some
that were both applied for and approved in the relevant date range.
(3) There has been total of $65,341 in submitted
applications and $83,019.20 in approved applications. This data is based on an
estimate of the transfer duty payable using the value declared in the relevant
first home owner grant application.
