While the North-West was not a beneficiary of the package, members will be pleased to learn of publicly funded transport activity in his region. For the current calendar year we will spend the following. Air services subsidies in the Pilbara - approximately $ 385,000 Air fare subsidy for students in Pilbara - approx $ 690,000 School Bus services for students in the Pilbara - approx $ 980,000 Town bus services in the Pilbara - approx $ 890,000 Total for Pilbara : approx $ 2.945m
