The amounts allocated as at 15
September 2015 are as follows: locality allocation, $36 549 535; Aboriginality
allocation, $43 014 625; disability allocation, $290 280 042; English as an
additional language, $35 514 319; and social disadvantage allocation, $67 892 458.
In total, the department has allocated $305 million for disability funding in
2015. This includes $285 million for the individual disability allocation and
an additional $20 million for the educational adjustment allocation. The
department will continue to allocate funds through the disability student
characteristic allocation for the remainder of the school year. Every eligible
student will receive funding.
