The Burrup Peninsula Rock Art Monitoring Management Committee held a technical workshop with community input in Dampier in late March which resulted in a range of research options. The committee is now reviewing these options prior to calling for proposals or tender submissions. Industrial emission dispersion modelling has been carried out to determine appropriate monitoring locations. Community consultation will continue as the program develops.
