(1) Has any coal been imported into Western Australia since 2021 from the following regions: (a) Asia; (b) Europe; (c) Africa; (d) North America; (e) South America; and (f) Oceania, outside of Australia? (2) If yes to (1), can the Minister please detail: (a) Country and region; (b) Tonnage; (c) Type of coal (bituminous, lignite, or other); (d) The importer; and (e) The intended use, if available? (3) What WA specific biosecurity controls are in place for each of the jurisdictions in (1) and (2) in relation to coal imports? (4) Has the Department of Mining, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) received advice from (the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) in relation to any biosecurity risks and if yes, please table that advice? (5) Has any coal been imported into Western Australia since 2021 from the following jurisdictions: (a) Queensland; (b) New South Wales; (c) Victoria; (d) Northern Territory; (e) South Australia; and (f) Tasmania? (6) If yes for (5), can the Minister please detail: (a) Tonnage; (b) Type of coal (bituminous, lignite, or other); (c) The importer; and (d) The intended use, if available?
