I refer to the juveniles captured after a high-speed chase early on Sunday morning, 13 June 2004. (1) Were any of the offenders involved subject to any form of detention or supervision orders or bail limitations? If so - (a) what type of detention, supervision orders or limitations; and (b) for what type of offences were these in place? (2) When the offenders were apprehended, did the police locate within the vehicle or on their persons, any evidence of a further offence of the type for which they had been made subject to the order or limitation; for example, drugs or home burglary? (3) Had the juveniles, prior to being apprehended on Sunday and after they were made subject to such order or limitation - (a) been breached with respect to those orders or limitations; or (b) done any acts or made any omissions to the knowledge of Department of Justice officers for which they could have been breached? Hon NICK GRIFFITHS
