I refer to the LWP Property Group’s proposed Riverhaven development in the suburb of Martin, and ask:
(a) can the Minister advise if this subdivision will be connected to the deep sewer system;
(b) will the Minister use this opportunity to connect Lumen Christi College to the deep sewer system;
(c) will the Minister use this opportunity to connect remaining houses in Eileen Street, Gosnells to the deep sewerage system; and
(i) if not, why not?

(a) Yes
(b) The works being undertaken by the subdivider and the Water Corporation provide the opportunity for Lumen Christi College to connect to the wastewater network at their own cost.
The ThornlieChristianCollegein Warton Road Huntingdale and CaryCollegein Wright Road Harrisdale both acquired access to a wastewater connection as a result of works undertaken by subdividers following the construction of the schools.
(c) No
(i) Eileen Street is 4 kilometres from the Riverhaven development. The infrastructure involved in the development is unable to service the houses in Eileen Street.
