I refer to the RAC 'Risky Roads Survey 2024/25', and the results in relation to the top 10 risky intersections in regional Western Australia, and I ask: (a) for the Albany Highway and South Coast Highway (Chester Pass Roundabout) in the Lockyer/Orana/Mt Melville (Albany) suburbs: (i) how many serious crashes occurred at or near the area in 2024; (ii) how many fatal crashes occurred at or near the area in 2024; and (iii) what steps have been taken, or are being planned, to remediate risk along the identified area?

(iii) The recently opened Albany Ring Road (Menang Drive) has provided an alternative route for heavy freight traffic which has reduced congestion and increased safety through the South Coast Highway and Albany Highway intersection.
