I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. Police are aware of emails circulating that relate to businesses affected by alleged credit-debit card skimming and PIN capture offences. During police media interviews, specific reference was made by police to inaccuracies in the emails. All the police news releases relating to these occurrences have remained specific about the information available to police. Police comments about the inaccuracies contained in the circulated emails have been reflected in the media reporting of these matters.
