46. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the Minister for Health's answer to
question on notice 1638 in the other place regarding hospital equipment at
Fiona Stanley Hospital.
(1) What is
the total value of that hospital equipment whose warranties will have expired
by 31 March 2015?
(2) What is the current cost of the extension of the
warranties by six months?
(3) In
relation to ''mitigation of the costs of the managed equipment service'',
what is the expected cost to state taxpayers?

(1) The total
value of that hospital equipment whose warranties will have expired by 31 March
2015 is $25 384 187.78.
(2)–(3) It has not yet been determined whether any
additional costs will be incurred.
