I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. It is C1002, is it not?
Hon Kate Doust : No. It is C1001.
Hon PETER COLLIER : They must be very similar.
Hon Kate Doust : The beginning might be, but the end
is not.
Hon PETER COLLIER : Yes, because question (4) is
separate. That is what threw me. So, the member has another question?
Hon Kate Doust : Yes .
Hon PETER COLLIER : Lucky I am on the ball! I could
have answered the wrong question, and we cannot have that!
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1)–(3) No.
(4) The scope
for electricity generators to purchase international permits to assist in
meeting the new greenhouse emissions targets is a matter for the commonwealth
government and is yet to be determined.
