(1) The Department does not keep centralised data on truancy or Term 1 attendance rates. Schools are required to record attendance data including whether an absence is authorised or unauthorised. The attendance rate is an average of the Semester 1, 2008 attendance data for each student in the school.
(a) Nollamara Primary School - 91.8%
(b)
Westminster Education Support Centre - 85.4%
Westminster Junior Primary School - 91.8%
Westminster Primary School - 89.8%

(a-e) Information about individual school programs addressing truancy is not kept centrally. Public schools are required to follow the Attendance policy which outlines the requirements for recording, monitoring and intervening where there are attendance concerns. Through consultation at the local level, schools determine the most applicable strategies to address attendance concerns.
