FORMER MINISTERS — PRIVATE ENTERPRISE APPOINTMENTS
1073. Hon TJORN SIBMA to the Leader of the House representing
the Premier:
I
refer to media reports concerning the employment of Hon Mark McGowan by the
private sector within four months of his resignation as Premier on 29
May.
(1) How does the
Premier and the state government intend to manage the obvious governance
challenges posed by these circumstances?
(2) For example,
will Mr McGowan be prohibited from contacting ministers, parliamentary
secretaries and public servants on behalf of his new employers for a set period
of time?
