I refer to the response to my previous question (QON 936) relating to accommodation expenses, and note that under (c) Mr Templeman received an allowance between 1 July 2005 and 31 August 2006 of $16,333.38. Could the Speaker please advise if Mr Templeman received any similar allowance between his election to Parliament in 2001 and 30 June 2005?

Payments received by the Member for Mandurah for the period 11 February 2001 to 30 June 2005 for the then equivalent of the current “Metropolitan Expenses of Members Representing Regions or Districts therein” (“Metropolitan Allowance”) totalled $57,185.81.
