(1) Yes.
(2) A teleconference of the Australian Road Rules (ARR) Maintenance Group was held on Tuesday 3 December 2013.
The consensus of the meeting was to not support changes to the ARR that would enable the one metre passing law to be introduced.
(3) Representatives from Western Australia Police and the Office of Road Safety represented Western Australia at the teleconference.
(4)  Not applicable.
