I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) (a) Amaroo
Primary School, one early childhood transportable classroom; Cowaramup Primary
School, one general transportable classroom; Eaton Primary School, one general
transportable classroom; Fairview Primary School, one early childhood
transportable classroom; Glen Huon Primary School, one early childhood
transportable classroom; and Parkfield Primary School, two early childhood
transportable classrooms; and

(2) (a) Transportable classrooms are provided to

enrolments cannot be accommodated in permanent facilities. A recent audit of
all schools has identified that the above schools can accommodate their student
enrolments in the remaining accommodation at the school.
(b) Seven transportables will be relocated to
Perth and three transportables will be relocated within the south west region.
(c) The
average cost of relocating a transportable to Perth is $40 000 to $50 000 for a
general classroom and $60 000 to $70 000 for an early childhood classroom.
